Also known as Basset Cove. St Mary's chapel of ease is a building of stone, in the Early English style, erected in 1841, from designs by Mr Whitwick, architect and restored in 1880 at a cost of £170, and consists of chancel and nave, western porch and a bellcot containing one bell: there are sittings for 250 persons.
