Treleigh

Formed January 9th, 1846 from the parish of Redruth.

The church of St Stephen is a building of stone in the Perpendicular style, consisting of nave with eastern apse, transepts, south porch and a turret containing one bell; there are three stained windows in the apse; an organ was introduced in 1883 at a cost of £200, raised by subscription; the church affords 300 sittings. The register dates from the year 1852.
