Trewen

The church of St. Michael is a small and ancient building of granite, in the Early Perpendicular style, consisting of chancel, nave of four bays, north aisle, south porch and a western turret containing one bell: in the churchyard is a large granite slab, inscribed to Ralph Honey, ob. 1596: the church was restored in 1863-4, and has 150 sittings. The register of baptisms dates from the year 1616; marriages and burials, 1617.
